If one looked up the term 'determined' they just might see
a picture of Chris Carson. It is that determination that kept him fighting as he lay on the side of the road near the Daisy
Mountain exit in Anthem, Arizona where his truck flipped multiple times on his way to work on Monday, October 29th, 2007.
Chris was ejected from the back window of his truck and landed twenty to thirty feet from his vehicle. As he lay on the side
of the road, gasping for air, he was looking down on his injured body and he ask God to take him and take him quickly and
at that moment God showed him a vision of his wife and daughter and he then said to God, “No God don’t
take me, I know this will be hard, but I have to be strong for my wife and little girl”, at that instant he was back
in his body and it was only by grace that a John C. Lincoln nurse came upon the scene and helped stabilize Chris's neck
until help arrived. He was later air evacuated to St. Joseph Medical Center where he was rushed into emergency surgery. Doctor's
soon discovered that he endured a 'burst fracture' of cervical disc 5 and 6 and a T11 compression fracture. He also
had staples placed in the top of his head. The story continues, click on "The Story of Great Courage!"
